Monthly Archives: September 2009

I allowed this blog to sit dormant for almost a year. There are a couple of reasons for this. One reason is that I think the death of my mother-in-law affected me a lot harder than I wanted to admit. I might explain this a bit more one day, but for now I think I’m finally ready to put that chapter of my life behind me and move on.

Creating and managing my web community, netHideaway, was another reason I lost my motivation to write. There was just no way I could devote my attention to my journal and my web community at the same time, so one of them had to take a back seat. In this case it had to be the journal.

I wasn’t really comfortable blogging after I stopped writing sponsored posts. I was writing a lot of paid posts and didn’t want to do it anymore. I feel like this blog is tainted with all the paid posts on it. I’m still receiving approximately $20.00 per month there for running ads which probably doesn’t seem like a lot of money but it does more than cover my hosting fees. I’ll leave the site here as long as they pay me to. I suppose it isn’t hurting anything by being here, and I’m providing quite a few back links for some people I used hang out with.

Another thing that has kept me away from my journal is that I still play a LOT of World of Warcraft, hehe. Gotta have my WoW fix.
