So as I sit here drinking my coffee (that is about one quarter cream) I'm reading a website about green tea. I've often heard that you can drink green tea for health benefits and I have often wondered what green tea tastes like. I can drink my coffee without sugar as long as I put in plenty of cream, but for some reason I can't drink tea without sugar and plenty of cream. Hehe, I bet putting sugar in green tea would ruin any health benefits right off the bat. Shocked

I did run across a website that tells you everything you would ever want to know plus more called O-cha.com. For example, their guide to brewing green tea explains the correct way to brew green tea right down to the last detail and explains how to brew green tea that is not bitter. I really would like to try some green tea but don't know if I want to invest $30-100 for a teapot. I'll have to give that a little more thought.

I used to drink lots of green tea. Was introduced to Japanese organic green tea by my Japanese neighbor. He bought so many packets for us each time he goes back to his home country.

When he left, we continued to drink green tea but it’s not easy to find Japanese organic ones.

Just a normal pot. I refuse to spend on special tea pots either!

Try it. The first time I tried I thought that it was so bitter, but after drinking the second time, I got used to it pretty fast.

What kind of a pot do you brew it in? I can’t see spending that much money on a teapot…

Well, trying green tea is definitely on my list of things to do… (or procrastination list as I like to call it.)
