March 2nd, 2008 I agreed to do a side bar link exchange with a mom reviews blog. I don’t see my link on their side bar anymore. I don’t mind them changing their mind but I think the courteous thing would be to let me know they were taking my link down so I could do the same.

If I decide to take this blog down or do something else with the domain name I’ll do my best to let people know so they can take my link down.. I honestly don’t care if people link to this dead ol’ blog or not, but I figure an agreement is an agreement…
I really should renew some old contacts though… I’m totally out of the loop… 
I’ve gotten to where I just don’t do blogrolls anymore because it seems like that happens all to often.

You taught me how to turn on my style of permalinks, which I’m sure really helped out in the long run. Now I use that on all my blogs!

What a coincidence-I’m going through my blogroll on MomReviews to see if the blogs on it are there linking back. And then I saw that you link to my blog Table for Five and not MomReviews! lol So now I need to check my blogroll there too

We did have an agreement for the Mom Reviews blog for a front page side bar link… people I have agreements with are under the heading “Associates”… People under “Linky Love” are people or blogs I particularly like… LOL, I like my associates too, but I just separate them so to help me remember if there was an agreement to link…
When I checked I didn’t see my link on Mom Reviews so I went ahead and removed your link too… did I make a mistake? was my link there and I overlooked it? If so I’m sorry and please accept my apology…
That’s my error. I changed themes and redid my sidebars. I’ll get your link up on MomReviews right away, thanks for reminding me! And thank you again for linking to Table for Five, that is very cool of you :=)

i must admit that i’ve exchanged many links in the past and even paid for link placements but i dont have the time to check that they are still present very often. people love their one-way links. really should keep an eye on my link swaps…

What really gets me is the people that contact you wanting a link exchange and you go to visit their site to see if they have listed your blog in their blogroll but they haven’t. It’s like they’ll only link to you if you link to them … well I don’t do that.
I link to a blog if I like it (I’ve done exchanges in the past and in some cases my link isn’t on the blog anymore). If the blogger wants to exchange links with me great, if not that’s fine. However I hate getting requests for links from people that haven’t even bothered to link to my site before asking for an exchange. That’s just rude.
