Hubby and I went shopping at Publix yesterday with coupons in hand… The store brand price was cheaper than many of the discounted name brands so we didn’t use many coupons… We spent a whopping $208.00, saved a total of $56.98 (which includes $10.50 in vendor coupons and $10.75 in store coupons) and received a free $10.00 Publix gift card… Since Publix accepts Target coupons as store coupons I printed out and used the Target coupons… It looks like I have a long, long way to go with my extreme couponing plan… long way… long…

I don’t read a lot of books but when I do read I love my Kindle Keyboard 3G so much. As soon as I saw the new Kindle Fire I decided I wanted to get one, but after reviewing it a bit more it became obvious that I would be much better off with an android tablet instead. With the Kindle Fire I would be limited to Amazon only but with an android tablet I would be able to use Barnes and Noble as well as Amazon and other ereader applications. Unfortunately I can’t find an android tablet with the price of the Kindle Fire ($199). I did find one that I thought I might like but the reviews of it aren’t so hot right now. I really, really want the Archos 80 G9 but I have to wait until they get the bugs out… :(

My other obsession is couponing but I haven’t even made the first trip to the grocery store yet… Maybe I’ll go tomorrow after I get a few newspapers and retrieve the coupon inserts… In the meantime I’m studying up on the ins and outs of couponing and how to get the best bang for my buck…

It really isn’t a big surprise that my page rank is zero considering I’ve only posted 3 times this year so far… I’m thinking about doing paid blogging again and if I do it looks like I’m going to have to start working on my Alexa and page rank scores… What a bummer… *sigh*

I upgraded my plugin and now it has completely stopped working… :(

Okay, Text Link Ads is only $7.00 per month at the moment but dang, it helps my PayPal account every month… Text Link Ads is the ONLY blog monetizing system that has ever worked consistently and reliably since the day I started this blog…

I just have to figure out what the problem is… I remember when I first got TLA that it took up to 24 hours for the links to show up on the blog… I’ll give it a day and hope for the best… if it still isn’t working I’ll have to email tech support…

Edit: Found a backup of a previous plugin and uploaded it. Fixed!

I have to type this sentence: Specialists in recrimination art.

Done. :)

Claiming my blog at Social Spark: a sprocket found in the backseat.

These people want me to put Google Analytics on my blog as well as give them my login credentials. Uhhhh…. I don’t think that is going to happen… I haven’t figured out how they expect to access my Google Analytic stats… I didn’t know they could do that without my permission but didn’t see the way to grant permission to do it…

I don’t need money bad enough to give someone my user name and password this blog though… that’s just creepy…
