I didn't like it.

I've used the same recipe before using round steak so I don't know what went wrong this time. I used the half cup of water but the gravy looked like a globby mess. I added another half cup of water and it looked more like gravy so I put the lid on it and let it simmer.

Another thing I did wrong was to put garlic salt on the meat before dredging it in flour. I do this out of habit but I forgot that the onion soup mix was very salty to begin with. oops!

I think my problem was that I cooked it too long. My husband visited his mother after work yesterday evening so I just let everything simmer until he got home. It still ended up as a globby mess in my opinion.

I might try this again sometime and hope I can remember the mistakes I made this time.

Hubby said he really liked it so I guess all's well that ends well.
